Sixth Grade 
    English: Choose at least three books from any genre that interests you (except graphic novels) to read this summer. The reading level should be appropriate, but please try to challenge yourself. In September, you will share what you read with the class in a creative presentation. This is a perfect opportunity to try a new author or genre. See the accompanying recommendation list on the right for some suggested titles.

    History: Read one (or more) of the following books by James M. Deem:
        Bodies from the Ash: Life and Death in Ancient Pompeii
        Bodies from the Bog
        Bodies from the Ice: Melting Glaciers and the Recovery of the Past

Seventh Grade
